fastr.ai/ ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by iTalent Corporation, provides a public-facing AI-powered platform for talent discovery, search, and related services (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, register for an account, or use the Platform as an individual user or visitor. 

This Policy applies to our role as data controller for public Platform users and website visitors. For enterprise customers using private, closed environments, we act as a data processor—see your Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum for those details. 

By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. 

1. Information We Collect 

Information You Provide 

  • Account and profile data: Name, email address, password, professional details (e.g., title, experience, skills if you input them). 
  • Communications: Messages, support inquiries, feedback. 
  • Payment data (if applicable): Billing info processed via third-party providers. 
  • Other: Preferences, marketing consents. 

Information from Public Sources (if applicable to talent search features) We may collect publicly available professional information (e.g., from LinkedIn, resumes, directories) to power search and discovery. This may include name, contact info, work history, education, skills. We do not collect sensitive data (e.g., health, race, political views) and do not infer sensitive characteristics. 

Automatically Collected Information 

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, OS, device identifiers, pages viewed, time spent, access times. 
  • Location data: Approximate (city-level) from IP; precise only with consent.

From Third Parties 

  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics). 
  • Social logins (if offered): Profile info from those platforms. 

2. How We Use Your Information 

We use information to: 

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Platform (e.g., personalize search results). 
  • Process registrations, accounts, and support requests. 
  • Communicate updates, security alerts, marketing (with opt-out). 
  • Analyze usage for enhancements and research (may create aggregated/de-identified data). 
  • Detect/prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity. 
  • Comply with legal obligations. 

AI Usage  

If we use third-party AI providers (e.g., for search/enhancements), we do not allow them to train models on your data and require deletion post-use (e.g., within 30 days unless required by law). 

Legal bases (EU/EEA): Contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (where required), or legal compliance. 

3. Sharing and Disclosure 

We share with: 

  • Service providers (hosting, analytics, payments, support—bound by confidentiality). 
  • Third-party AI providers (limited, no training on data). 
  • In business transfers (mergers, acquisitions). 
  • Authorities/law enforcement for compliance, safety, or legal process. 
  • Affiliates for operations. 

We do not sell personal information as defined under CCPA/CPRA. 

4. Your Privacy Rights and Choices 

Depending on your location: 

  • Access, correct, delete your data. 
  • Opt out of marketing (unsubscribe links or contact). 
  • Opt out of cookies/tracking (browser settings or our cookie banner). 
  • For CCPA/CPRA (California): Opt out of sale/sharing (use “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in footer; GPC browser signals honored). 
  • GDPR/EEA: Additional rights (object, restrict, portability, withdraw consent). 
  • Appeal denials. 

Submit requests to [privacy@fastr.ai] or our Privacy Center [if built]. We verify identity and respond within legal timeframes. Authorized agents accepted with proof. 

5. Retention 

We retain data as needed for purposes above, legal obligations, disputes, or safety. Usage data kept shorter-term for analysis/security. 

6. International Transfers 

Data may transfer to the US or other countries. We use safeguards (e.g., SCCs, adequacy decisions) for EEA/UK data. 

7. Children’s Privacy 

The Platform is not for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn of such collection, we delete it. 

8. Security 

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and physical measures. No method is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security. 

9. Do Not Track 

We do not respond to browser DNT signals. 

10. Changes to This Policy 

We may update this Policy. Changes posted here with updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
